We're seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to lead our Tourism, Industrial Development, and Chamber of Commerce efforts. As the Community & Economic Development Coordinator, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing tourism initiatives, fostering partnerships with local businesses, and enhancing our community's economic vitality. You will drive marketing campaigns and spearhead events to attract tourists and support local commerce.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to promote tourism and support local businesses.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies, and community organizations. Facilitate communication between non-profit organizations and City and County government entities.
- Lead marketing and promotional efforts to increase visitor engagement and drive economic growth.
- Plan and coordinate events, festivals, and initiatives to showcase our community's offerings.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in Marketing, Business Administration, Community Development, Hospitality, or related field.
- Strong leadership abilities; Management experience and/or self-directed job experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Social media and technology fluency
- Knowledge of tourism trends, marketing strategies, and economic development principles.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:
