The United Methodist Mountain Mission in the mountains of Southeast Kentucky is a nonprofit project founded in 1943 by the Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, governed by a Board of Directors appointed from Conference membership.
The Mission consists of eight Opportunity Stores through which used clothing, furniture, and odds-and-ends are sold to the community and the surrounding areas.
