Get ready to eat, drink and be scary! The Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to join the fright-filled fun at the 4th Annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 23, at 5:45 pm at the City Park Walking Track. Admission is free for this all-ages event. The first 500 kiddos get a special bag to load up with candy galore.
This family-friendly Halloween tradition is designed to bring neighbors together in a safe and festive environment. With decorated trunks, lots of costumed faces and plenty of sweet treats, the night promises to be a spooktacular time for children and parents!
What’s a Trunk or Treat?
For those who haven’t experienced the fang-tastic fun of a Trunk or Treat, it’s a creative twist on the classic trick-or-treating tradition. Instead of going door-to-door, families gather in one spot where community members transform their car trunks into fun, spooky or silly scenes. Little ghosts, goblins and superheroes stroll from trunk to trunk, collecting Halloween candy while marveling at the spooktacular creativity of local families and organizations.
Boo Basket Donations Needed!
Help us make this year’s Trunk or Treat a spooktacular success. We’re calling on our incredible community to donate festive, fun-filled treat baskets that will bring big smiles to all!
Whether you’d like to donate one, two, or several, every basket helps create a memorable night for local kids. Donations can be dropped off at the Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce throughout the month of October. The more Boo Baskets donated, the more kids' names we can draw! So help us out and drop your Boo Baskets off at 111 Hill Street starting October 1st!
Grab Your Ghouls and Let’s Go!
So dust off your costumes (yes, you too parents!), sharpen your fangs and get ready to have a frightfully fun evening! Cumberland County’s Trunk or Treat is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season with thrills, chills, and of course, candy!
The Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce would like to give a special howl-out to Jamie Collins for her outstanding work with Trunk or Treat. Jamie is one of our Chamber Board of Directors and does a wonderful job organizing Truck or Treat - and the Christmas Tree Lighting as well! Thank you, Jamie!
