Kentucky’s Ultimate Playground
Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is a county treasure in the Kentucky State Park system. Even if you think you know state parks, you may have never seen a state park with these kinds of facilities. Amenities include:
- Lodging & Camping: The Mary Ray Oaken Lodge, with 60 guest rooms featuring balconies and patios, sits regally atop a bluff overlooking Dale Hollow Lake. Additionally, for a more rustic stay, there are nearly 150 campsites, some of which are set up for horses.
- Island View Restaurant: Serving Kentucky fare and cuisine from around the world with spectacular lake views.
- Basketball: Courts are located at the campground entrance and in the picnic area.
- Birding and Eagle Watching: A variety of species can be found throughout the park; however, the most important birding trails are the Eagle Point Trail and the Boom Ridge-Eagle Point Connector Trail.
- Boating: The park has a marina with 200+ slips, a boat ramp, a store, and a fuel dock.
- Caving: Explore the underground wonders of Cindy Cave with a wild cave tour led by a knowledgeable guide.
